Sherpa DP2

Project URL

Sherpa DP2 will extend the collaborative, shared preservation environment developed by the Sherpa DP. The project will build on that work by extending the implementation model to interact with repositories holding different and varied types of digital content and using a more diverse range of content management systems. A tool for creating METS packages will be developed, and automation of digital object preservation will be investigated. The Sherpa DP digital repository Handbook will be expanded and enhanced.

The project is led by the Centre for e-Research; CCH is one of a number of partners whose role is to provide content for test harvesting. They include:

  • University of Hull
